In August 2005 the National Association for Hose and Accessories Distribution and Integrated Shipping Solutions rolled out the NAHAD Small Parcel Value Program. The program was designed to help NAHAD members control their escalating small parcel shipping costs.
Since the inception of the NAHAD Small Parcel Value Program, 34 members have reduced their small parcel shipping costs by $1,600,000 over the duration of the ISS negotiated agreements.

The recent affiliation between The Safety Marketing Group & Integrated Shipping Solutions, Inc. is off to a great start. The affiliation’s objective is to reduce the small parcel transportation costs for SMG members with UPS, FedEx, and DHL.
The experts at ISS use their knowledge and experience as former carrier executives to negotiate the best small parcel shipping incentive agreements in the market today. ISS manages the entire bid process for the SMG members, and negotiates the best available agreements from all carriers. ISS then allows each member to determine which carrier to select, albeit the member remaining with the incumbent carrier is typically the end result.
Not only does the SMG member save time by having an ISS consultant manage the bid process, a significant hard dollar savings is also realized. The reason for this is that account executives employed by the shipping companies are compensated on net revenue paid into the company by their accounts. Their pay depends on every dollar you pay. Therefore, it is in the best interest of the account executive to hold back all, or as much discount as possible, to retain/win your business. Shipping companies want to keep you uninformed, because an uninformed consumer means higher margins for them. ISS negotiates with your best interest in mind. Shipping companies simply do not.
Since the program’s inception, ISS has saved SMG members between 12-25% on their small parcel shipping costs.
